Who is the course for?

• This course is for all music and instrument teachers and vocal coaches.

• Our music training course suits both private teachers as well as teachers working in schools, music trusts or music academies.

What topics will you cover?

• Assess your current teaching

• Explore and evaluate teaching and learning principles

• Identify core musical skills

• Evaluate your own technique

• Develop a range of strategies of teaching technique

Who will you learn with?

• Two ABRSM exam specialists will run the course which caters for both experienced and less experienced teachers.

• The total number of teachers is limited to 15 per group. This will provide the best face to face teaching experience. 

What will you achieve?

• Develop an understanding of a range of teaching and learning principles

• Evaluate your own instrumental technique and assess how you approach teaching technique to your pupils
