Our training programme specially tailored to your needs, to set you on the path to becoming an excellent teacher, one who will inspire the next generation to succeed, and you will gain invaluable experience alongside an expert curriculum.

Who is the course for?

This course is for all music and instrument teachers and vocal coaches.
Our music training course suits both private teachers as well as teachers working in schools, music trusts or music academies.

What topics will you cover?

Assess your current teaching
Explore and evaluate teaching and learning principles
Identify core musical skills
Evaluate your own technique
Develop a range of strategies of teaching technique

Who will you learn with?

Two ABRSM exam specialists will run the course which caters for both experienced and less experienced teachers.
The total number of teachers is limited to 15 per group. This will provide the best face to face teaching experience.

What will you achieve?

Develop an understanding of a range of teaching and learning principles
Evaluate your own instrumental technique and assess how you approach teaching technique to your pupils

Certificate for Music Educators (CME)

The Certificate for Music Educators (called the CME) is a programme of professional development for anyone teaching music.

It is validated by Trinity College London, at the standard of Ofqual Level 4.
